Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began when she was 14 years old. Along with BJJ as well, she was also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. When she was 18, Ladd made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd then went on to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents were defeated within the first few minutes. After that, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's professional career. Ladd rebounded from her loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by first-round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first bout as a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen used her wrestling expertise to knock out McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. Her final fight with Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and ground-and-pounded her to pick up a second-round TKO victory. Her dominance grew and she won a much more convincing victory during her next fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. Also, she was awarded an extra bonus for her performance that night. Her first major fight in the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put up an intense battle that concluded with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and both fighters getting their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. Following a brief break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a recent replacement match to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her loss was a unanimous one.
